The Saturday night dance is set to be huge with Scotland's very own Borders Big Band. We'll dance to the sounds of a huge bass and horn section, plus great vocals.

Some info on the band:

The Borders Big Band was formed in 1978 by a group of musicians who wanted to play & re-create the music of the big band era.

Based in the Scottish Borders, The Borders Big Band has performed at hundreds at concerts and dances all over the South of Scotland, Edinburgh & The Lothians, Fife and the North of England. The Band is run on a non-profit making basis, and all proceeds from gigs go to charity.

The Band's repertoire is drawn from the music of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, and many other of the great Big Bands.

Now in its twenty-eighth year, The Borders Big Band is still much in demand continues to entertain audiences wherever it performs, proving that Big Band music is still very much alive & well.
